How their story started with silence and soulful connection
This wasn’t love at first sight. It was better.
Sirjan and Kunal first crossed paths at a gym, where they noticed each other but never spoke. It was only after connecting on Instagram and exchanging silent nods for months that a casual coffee meet-up changed everything. One conversation led to another. What started as small talk gradually bloomed into something enduring and peaceful. “Love grew over time, and it felt magical and calm,” shares the bride.

For both of them, the realization wasn’t loud or dramatic. It was subtle, powerful, and rooted in inner stillness. “When your mind stops questioning and there is calmness at every step, that’s when you know,” says the couple. Instead of rushing through milestones, they let the universe guide them, trusting timing over timelines.
Choosing a peaceful pastel wedding close to home and nature
The couple always knew they wanted a real Punjabi wedding that felt close to home, not just in location, but in spirit. Living away from Punjab made this celebration even more meaningful.
They chose soft pastels, minimalist decor, and natural surroundings. Their Anand Karaj ceremony took place at Gurudwara Lohgarh Sahib, surrounded by greenery and divine stillness. For the reception, they chose Sharon Resort for its expansive lawns and stunning landscaping.

The bride’s look reflected elegance and royal minimalism
Sirjan wore a hand-embroidered lehenga in onion pink by White Lily by Navneet Sidhu. The outfit carried her heart, literally, as she personalized the latkans with her wedding date and Kunal’s name.

Her bridal jewellery, chosen by her parents, came from Ranjit Jewellers, Moga, and reflected royal aesthetics in pure gold.

Makeup artist Nav Brar and hairstylist Usha brought her vision of a “Sardari royal bride” to life. The look was subtle, sophisticated, and deeply rooted in Sikh bridal grace.

Kunal’s outfit was from Lagan, chosen after an extensive search. His turban perfectly matched the bride’s lehenga, creating a beautifully coordinated look.

Joyful and fresh haldi ceremony moments with coordinated looks
Both bride and groom wore outfits by Viriga Couture for their Haldi ceremony. For her Haldi makeup, the bride turned to Rehmat Brar Makeup Solutions, choosing a look that felt fresh, minimal, and glowing.

Heartfelt memories that will always stay with the couple
Some of the most unforgettable moments happened off-stage, during the laughter-filled days leading up to the wedding. An impromptu father-daughter dance with Kunal became an emotional surprise. Another memory etched in the bride’s heart was the quiet morning with her mother, listening to Japji Sahib before getting ready.
Their chosen wedding song, “Ve Haaniyaan” by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, captured their love story perfectly. The line, “k Likheya si saada milna, tu eda milna eh nai c pta” felt like a divine echo of their own journey.

Photographers who made the couple feel seen and celebrated
The couple entrusted Shri Gurudev Photography to document their big day. “They were amazing,” says the bride. “The team knew exactly when and what needed to be captured — our videos are beautiful and full of heart.”

Marriage is about choosing each other daily with friendship and faith
For Sirjan and Kunal, marriage is more than a few days of celebration. “It’s an everyday choice. A decision to love deeper, to choose each other at your best and worst,” they say. It’s friendship first, partnership second.
The bride’s advice to couples planning their dream wedding
“Don’t sweat the small stuff. The details will fade. What remains is the joy, the people, the moments. Delegate tasks and immerse yourself in the experience. That’s what truly matters.”
