1. Can you tell us about your journey into the world of makeup artistry and your biggest influences in the makeup industry?
My journey into makeup artistry began with a passion for practicing makeup at home. I spent some time experimenting with different techniques and looks on myself and my sisters. To refine my skills and gain professional knowledge, I took a makeup course from the renowned Samaira Sandhu. My biggest influences in the makeup industry are Samaira Sandhu, Meera Sakhrani, and Mudit Arora, whose work continues to inspire and push the boundaries of creativity in makeup artistry.
2. What are your favourite makeup techniques or trends right now?
I am currently loving the dewy makeup look, which emphasises a natural, radiant glow. However, it doesn’t last long, so I prefer it for shorter events of 1-2 hours. Another favorite technique of mine is enhancing lips without fillers using contouring. By strategically applying lip liner and contour shades, I can create the illusion of fuller lips, giving a plump and defined look while remaining timeless and classic.

3. Can you share a makeup tip or trick that every bride should know?
One essential tip is to address under-eye creasing. To keep the under-eye area looking smooth and flawless throughout the day, use a small amount of MAC Studio Fix powder for touch-ups. This will help set the concealer, reduce creasing, and keep the under-eye area looking fresh and bright.
4.Can you describe any memorable or challenging makeup project you worked on and how you handled it?
One memorable and challenging project I worked on was for a bride who wanted a Hollywood glam look that appeared soft and natural in pictures. This required using high-coverage foundation and concealer, which can look quite different in real life. The challenge was to balance the bride’s expectations with the reality that full-coverage products are necessary to achieve that flawless, soft-focus effect in photos. By carefully applying and blending the products, I managed to create a seamless finish. The bride was thrilled with the final result, as the makeup looked stunning in both real life and photographs.
5. Being a bridal makeup artist ,what are your must-have makeup products in your kit?
My must-have makeup products include a high-quality concealer for flawless coverage, blush for adding a healthy flush to the cheeks, a versatile lipstick for a perfect pout, and mascara for defining the lashes. 6. What advice would you give to brides-to-be when choosing their wedding day makeup?

This ensures that the bride feels confident and happy with the final look, avoiding any regrets. For both makeup and hairstyle, clarity and communication with the makeup artist are crucial beforehand. When it comes to jewelry and styling, doing some research or consulting with the makeup artist can be beneficial, as not all jewelry complements every outfit and every face shape. Since every makeup artist has different preferences and styles, being clear about your vision will help create a beautiful overall look.

7. Can you share a few dos and don’ts for bridal makeup?

Do ask for pictures of makeup trials or do a timeless look to ensure the bride is happy with the look before the big day.Do choose long-lasting and waterproof products to ensure your makeup stays intact throughout the event.

Don’t go too heavy on the makeup; it’s important for the bride to look like herself and feel comfortable.Don’t base the makeup choices solely on trends; ensure the makeup complements the bride’s style and preferences, and that it remains classic.
8. What do you enjoy most about being a bridal makeup artist?
What I enjoy most about being a makeup artist is the ability to enhance someone’s confidence and make them feel beautiful. The creative process and the opportunity to work with diverse clients and styles keep my work exciting and fulfilling.

My personal philosophy is “Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” This guides my work by reminding me to enhance each client’s natural beauty and to create looks that make them feel authentic and confident.
